It was founded by Richard Jennette and established in 1997.
Richard Jennette started his career in sales over 20 years ago. He quickly realized the need for a leasing/property management company that specialized in annual and vacation rentals. The tourism industry was booming back then and many travelers craved the authentic experience of living in a beautiful home instead of a dreary hotel room.
The feel of living in a beautiful location can only be experienced when you have a home to live in. Otherwise, you’re just a tourist and we want you to feel at home.
Richard’s vision has created a unique relationship with many local real estate sales agents, who are all licensed realtors as well. For him, Jennette Properties is more than just “looking at the numbers”. It’s primarily about the rentals. This ideology has become the backbone of Jennette Properties and has resulted in many successful referral-based relationships with the local realtors which continue to this day.
However, like any other endeavor, Jennette Properties too had humble beginnings.
Several years ago, we consolidated offices which increased productivity by having the agents work in an environment more conducive to co-broking. Therefore, our owners receive the benefit of all the agents working together to get properties leased.
