The North Port Aquatic Center, a must-visit for you and your family, is at the heart of North Port, Florida. The facility is home to many events, parks, beaches, and recreation centers with a vast aquatic area and varying water activities.

North Port is in Sarasota County, which is between Tampa and Fort Myers. It’s the youngest and fast-growing place in South Florida. The area has breathtaking natural springs and beautiful archeological sites.

The North Port Aquatic Center perfectly fits in this city primarily because it has the audience it targets. Most of the North Port population is in their 40s with young families, so they will find their way into the center.

The center focuses on aquatic activities, which resonates well with the 80 miles of freshwater canals around this area. Also, oak and pine canopies give people amazing sceneries as they enjoy their water activities.

This newest water park in Florida is the perfect size for families. It has enough space for everyone, so your older kids will also find an activity they will enjoy. Be assured that your kids will be entertained throughout.

While driving towards this center, you are met with a 70-foot tower. It is where the two flume rides start. The first slide opens with a curly Q route heading to the pool and starts two flights up. The second slide is a closed flume that begins with a dead drop and then curls towards the pool’s entrance.

The first two slides are easy to ride, so your small kids will love them. There is also a taller slide perfect for older kids and adults. To use it, the child must be 48″ tall and weigh up to 300lbs.

There’s also a kid-friendly zero-entry splash area for those who are afraid to slide. It’s set right at the picnic tables with shade as you enter the center, so you can closely watch your toddlers.

Then there is the lazy river! It is perfect for older kids who want to go for a more fun slide session. Kids can opt to walk with the water flow in the river or lay on tubes to the end. The finish point of the lazy river is at the center of the park, so you can enjoy all the activities and monitor your kids from there.

Are you looking for a challenging activity for the kids? Then the monkey bars at the North Port Aquatic Center are it! The kids try to cross the monkey bars while ensuring that they do not fall.

Don’t just sit around watching your kids! There is an exciting activity that you can enjoy with other people or maybe accompany your kids here. This aquatic center has a big pool where you can do laps. The pool has two diving boards around the deep end.

While here, your kids will enjoy the various food and snacks selection. You are not allowed to bring your food from outside, though. So, carry some cash with you.

The admission fees to this place will vary depending on age. Also, if you are a resident of this area, bring your ID. Generally, the site is very well priced, so you can enjoy many activities.
