About Tia Castle

Tia is an entrepreneur at heart with a belief that small business are “the backbone of our
economy and the cornerstone of our communities.” ~ Barak Obama. Her interest in real
estate began when she read “Rich Dad Poor Dad” in the early 1990’s. Tia has been
involved in various aspects of real estate from investing to interior design, Airbnb
management, property management and marketing.
In 2016 Tia launched and hosted a television show titled, “Home and Castle TV.” It was a
lifestyle show that included mansion style homes for sale in Florida. It was like an
updated version of Robyn Leach’s “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.” The show
premiered on cable networks throughout Florida and on the Canadian “Real Estate
Channel.” You can also catch her being interviewed on various podcasts about the short
term rental industry and is a co-author in an Amazon best-selling book, Hospitable
Hosts.”
Tia graduated Cum Laude from The American University Washington DC, with a degree
in Broadcast Journalism. She worked in sales as a biotech representative with J&J, was a
news reporter with an ABC affiliate, sold real estate with Sotheby’s International Real
Estate and has managed short term rentals for over seven years. She enjoys introducing
newcomers to her hometown of Sarasota and helping investors protect their assets.
